A world-leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of PC-based measurement and automation instrumentation are currently looking for Graduate Applications Engineers to join their successful and expanding UK operation based in Newbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for high-calibre graduates (in electronics, physics, software or computer science) to become part of their well-established Engineering Leadership Programme which provides excellent scope for career progression into several different job functions. As part of their innovative Applications Engineering team, you will receive the full coaching and support needed to further develop your technical knowledge and customer interfacing skills.
The duties and responsibilities of this position will include interacting directly with customers to educate, train, inform, advise and consult in their use of the company's products. You will be involved in providing conclusive solutions to technical problems, trouble shooting, delivering professional customer education courses and demonstrating products to customers. Career progression opportunities are available in to Technical Sales, Technical Marketing or Systems Engineering.
In order to succeed within this challenging role you will hold a good degree in a relevant discipline, coupled with a thorough understanding of electronics, computers and programming. It is essential that you are an excellent communicator who is confident, enjoys working with people and wants to work within a sociable, team environment. It also important that you can demonstrate the motivation and enthusiasm to succeed, coupled with excellent problem solving skills and an entrepreneurial attitude. There will be a competitive starting salary, plus relocation allowance, bonus scheme, private health insurance, pension and subsidised health club membership.
