Description
Opening for a Geotechnical Engineer who will report to the Technical Directors (Geotechnics) and responsible for contributing towards project and team activities in line with company policy.
Have relevnat experience and, in addition to technical competence you will have developed the ability to assume the role of project manager.
Requirements:
-Knowledge and experience of using slope stability and retaining wall analysis software such as Oasys, Reward. Experience in application of data management software, Hole Base 3.1 and Keyhole 6.
-An understabding on finite element modelling especially PLAXIS version 8.
Technical skills required:
-Experience in palnning and supervision of Ground investigation including GI for contaminated land assesssment pourpose.
-Knowledge of geotechnical in-situ and laboratory tests and interpreting of these results.
-An understanding of geotechnical instrumentation and interpreting of monitoring data.
-An understanding of basic and advanced soil mechanics with good analytical skills in foundation assessement, Settlement analysis and design of embankment and retaining structures.
