Description

Role involves working with other specialist disciplines in our Birmingham, Nottingham, Epsom and other regional offices.

The planning, design and delivery of remediation and regeneration projects and will include key technical and managerial responsibilities at all project stages from inception to delivery on site.

Requirements:

- Applicants should have a Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology qualification

- Have experience in

.the design and management of geoenvironmental investigations
.design of earthworks, and assessment of slope stability,
.foundation bearing capacity and settlement analyses

- Have experience in undertaking and reporting Phase 1 and 2 geoenvironmental studies

- Ideally have a post graduate qualification in a related subject.

- Be numerate and familiar with IT and software appropriate to the tasks undertaken

- Be familiar with relevant codes of practice and industry standards




Responsibilities:


.Responsible for the design and supervision of geoenvironmental investigations
.The preparation of interpretative reports and technical assessments
.The development of remediation options.
.Assisting in the project management tasks of scheduling work and monitoring budgets
.Liaising with clients, stakeholders and regulators.
.Providing specialist advice to clients and other divisions
.Working with the rest of the team in advancing our technical capability to the highest standard.
