Description

Exciting opportunities for Geotechnical Engineers and Engineering Geologists to develop their career.

Various opportunities exist within our Inspection, Assessment, Maintenance and Project Teams.

The work involves earthwork management and design, including earth retaining structures, from conception through to construction.

Requirements:

Candidates should have:

.good academic background with a relevant degree and possibly an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering / Engineering Geology
.Appropriate amount of experience and some experience of working in a railway environment is desirable
.good understanding of relevant soil mechanics some experience in earthworks and retaining structure design is desirable
.a flare for innovation good report writing skills ability to self check and produce accurate work
.UK driving licence desirable
