General Manager / Operations Manager Vehicle Storage Department

Operating at the forefront of their field, our client is Londons premier Rescue and Recovery service. With their vast experience, they have attended over 1,000,000 calls for assistance. They are currently looking to recruit a General Manager / Operations Manager to run their vehicle storage department.
In this position you will play a key role in managing their storage department which houses vehicles for organisations such as the Met Police, insurers, or breakdown recovery organisations, when vehicles need to be stored securely after an accident, incident or breakdown.
As a General Manager / Operations Manager you will be responsible for liaising with clients and assuming responsibility for all incoming and outgoing vehicles, including documenting and photographing vehicle details. You will be expected to manage the department with a focus on KPIs and budget.
This role will also involve a degree of computer-based and administrative work, so you will require a methodical approach to your work, and you will also provide wider general supervision of the storage area, including staff management.
To succeed as the General Manager / Operations Manager you must have supervisory or management experience, gained from within a technical or automotive-based operation.
