Our client is an independent subsea consultancy focused on the provision of high quality engineering services to the deepwater market for riser, flowline and umbilical design. It has grown into becoming one of the premium suppliers of engineering services to the deepwater market.
They are now looking to recruit a General Manager with a good technical background in the Oil and Gas industry to oversee the various projects being undertaken within the Epsom office. Whilst not directly responsible for the managing of the projects it would be expected that the General Manager will have an understanding of the progress of each of the projects. He/she will ultimately be responsible for ensuring that the various components within the organisation are working effectively and efficiently to ensure that the projects are delivered to a high standard and on time.
The General Manager will lead the entire team within the UK office and be responsible for the companys profitability. He/she will oversee all employees activities, ensuring that teams are functioning effectively and if not address any issues promptly. A key part of this role will also include external communication with clients, as well as internal communication with other offices. The General Manager will also be responsible for actively supporting business development.
