The jobholder will be required to:
Process large quantities of detailed data.
Achieve project-determined deliverables by the application of specialist analysis tools and processes.
Support Fuel System Design engineers in determining unusable and ullage volumes, fuel CofG, fuel levels etc.
Provide reactive support to Customer Services as and when required often in AOG situations.
Provide data to the Avionics Rigs and Simu

Support Fuel System Design engineers in determining unusable and ullage volumes, fuel CofG, fuel levels etc.
Provide reactive support to Customer Services as and when required often in AOG situations.
Provide data to the Avionics Rigs and Simulation Departments.
Generate detailed Fuel Tank Models using in-house application and identify any problems associated with incomplete/incorrect data.
Follow Airbus procedures to maintain full traceability of tank model data.
Interface with other disciplines within Airbus such as Structures, Weights, Loads, Wing Systems Installation etc.
Deliver technical reports to be used by the aircraft project.

Role Description, qualifications knowledge and experience:

The jobholder will be a member of the Tank Modelling Team in the Fuel Systems Control & HMI Department. Their functional line manager will be the Engineering Group Leader for Gauging and Electronics. Their project line manager will be the Tank Modelling Lead Engineer. The job holder is required to be flexible, working as part of the fuel modelling team and will often be required to represent the team when working on a particular project. The job holder is responsible for running tank model analysis tools to generate the outputs required by other teams for test rigs, design reviews etc. Required Qualifications
HNC in an Engineering or related discipline, or appropriate industrial experience Required Skills
Experience of producing Technical reports.
Must have excellent IT literacy, in particular Excel.
Familiarity with Windows 2000.
Ability to work as part of a team on multiple projects. Desirable Skills
Ability to scrutinise and verify own work.
An understanding of aircraft fuel storage systems.
Knowledge of Excel macros/VBA scripts would be an advantage.
Familiarity with Fuel Systems development.
Familiarity with Unix.
