Due to growth a vacancy has arisen within out client for a Site Supervisor for the Fire & Security
Department within the Specialist Services Division.
Principle Accountabilities:
• Liaise with EFS commercial/technical/operational management in order to comply with company procedures
• Preparation of tenders, programmes, method statements, risk assessments and company IMS procedures
• Procure labour/materials and sub-contracts in accordance with EFS buying procedures ensuring waste and costs are
minimised
• Liaise with EFS management to keep them informed of contract progress and issues that may affect the running of the
contract
• Management and close supervision of EFS staff and sub-contractors
• Knowledgeable and control in matters relating to Health & Safety, Environment, Technical and Statutory requirements
including CDM regulations and ensure compliance at all times
• Attendance at client contract meetings as and when required
• Preparation and presentation of Client Contract Reports
• Maintain accurate project administration files and costs (financial records)
• Preparation of a monthly report for the Contracts Manager detailing project activities
• Attendance at and participation in the Monthly Contract Meeting
• Provide operational support as necessary to other parts of the Specialist Services Business Unit
• Advise or recommend improvement for additions or reductions in the scope of works
• Maintain the strong working relationships
• To manage effectively timesheets, mileage sheets and necessary administration paperwork on a weekly/monthly basis, as
detailed.
• Assist in the development of trainees.
• Control and manage tools and plant on site to ensure that resources are in accordance with the job.
• To carry out any other reasonable requests of senior management
Qualifications and Experience:
• Approved Person and Competent Person.
• IT literacy (word processing, spreadsheets and project management tools)
• Valid full driving licence, desirable clean
• Smart, presentable appearance
• Personable and approachable
• Proven communication and numeric skills (verbal and written)
• A team player with the ability to work from their own initiative
• Prepared to work additional hours if and when reasonably requested
• Ensure that all work under your control is carried out in accordance with all statutory Health & Safety Regulations current
at the time of the Contract, the Company's Safety Manual and any other safety requirements specific to the Contract or
requested by the Client.
• Must be willing to undertake further training
• Full driving licence (preferably clean)
