A chance for an FE Analyst to join an innovative leading software developer whose technology is used by major Tier 1 suppliers to the Automotive industry has come up in the Nottingham area.
The role has arisen due to continuous expansion within the company and you will be working as a Specialist in the Engineering department. You will be working as part of a team working on gearbox and driveline related design and NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) projects. This will see you using specialist software with a view to reporting results to project leaders.
As a specialist you will be required to be a leader in the use of FEA finite element tools and overseeing the work carried out by colleagues. As part of the project work calculations in static linear, non-linear contact, dynamic (time and frequency) and fatigue need to be carried out so experience in as many of these areas is desirable.
This role would suit Engineers who ideally will have a Degree in Engineering or equivalent which may have had a heavy emphasis on Engineering & Mathematics. Masters degrees or PhDs would also prove to be advantageous.
