Our client is a leading supplier of water and wastewater treatment and metering solutions. We provide our clients with advanced technologies, and quality products to provide customers with truly efficient, cost-effective solutions to water and wastewater challenges.
We are seeking a Proposals Engineer to provide proposals support for the company's filtration products and processes, including TETRA tertiary treatment processes, SBRs, TETRA LP Blocks and Bayoxide/Sorb 33.
Key Responsibilities:
> Evaluation of incoming tenders/enquiries and determination of decision to bid by review of suitability/requirements in conjunction with appropriate Sales/Management personnel;
> Undertake preparation of cost estimates and proposal documents for filtration products/process technologies and coordinate technical and commercial responses to customers throughout the tender/sales process;
> To ensure that all appropriate technical/commercial considerations have been taken into account during the tendering process, including requesting, obtaining and incorporating input from relevant parties;
> Preparation and maintenance of standard quotation templates and costing information, including liaison with technical and projects department as appropriate;
> To provide a detailed handover of all orders/subcontracts to the relevant department following receipt.
Skills and experience:
> Engineering/Science qualifications and experience;
> Qualified to Degree/HNC level in appropriate subject area;
> Ability to deliver excellent results and communicate effectively;
> Ability to deal directly with customers on commercial and technical matters on a regular basis;
> Problem solving and providing solutions to meet client's requirements utilizing the company's products;
> Possess excellent interpersonal skills in customer relationships, IT and time management skills;
> Ensure the company's quality policy and management systems are applied in all activities undertaken.
