Field Service / Commissioning Engineer - Electrical
Working withing the Packaging industry, the ideal engineer with have PLC and HMi system experience as well as knowledge of electronic machinery such as AC / DC Drives, stepper motors, servo, variable speed and 3phase drives.
Salary is to £25,000 + Excellent Benefits.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within this electronics service engineering business, developed to support modern electrical, electronic machinery and components within industry. This service operation has developed an outstanding reputation and unrivalled technical ability within their field and due to planned growth they are now seeking a self motivated and highly skilled engineer to compliment their current team.
The service engineer will be responsible for the installation, service and repair ( to component level ) of electronic machinery including, AC / DC drives, stepper motors, servo, variable speed and 3phase drives as well as various PLC and HMI systems, some projects will involve the modular replacement of parts but engineers able to repair down to component level will be shown preference.
This role is based within the workshop with the occasional requirement to visit client sites so flexible engineers who have good communication and people skills are required.
Previous experience in a similar service role would ideal and people with specific industry experience (Drive systems) would again be given priority.
