Immediately my client requires two Field Service Engineers - 1 x Mechanical Service Engineer (CNC / Conveyors / Machine Tool) and 1 x Electrical/Electronic Service Engineer (CNC / Machine Tool)
Electronic/Electrical CNC Service Engineer to £30k + Car + Overtime
To repair controls, axis drives, spindle drives and PLCs associated with predominantly CNC lathes and machining centres, but on occasions with conventional and other types of equipment. Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, G.E, Heidenhain, Mazatrol or Haas controls and drives would be advantageous. The ideal employee will be able to liaise confidently and diplomatically with customers and be able to work alone. Whilst paper qualifications will be an advantage, direct experience in this specific type of machinery is just as desirable.
Mechanical CNC Service Engineer to £30k + Car + Overtime
To repair and carry out preventative maintenance procedures to a wide variety of predominantly CNC machine tools. Experience with ball screws, turrets, spindles, tailstocks, conveyors and bar feeds are a minimum requirement, as is a good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Some common makes of machines we work on are, Cincinnati, Bridgeport, Takisawa, Haas, Yang, Mazak Gildermeister, Hitachi-Seiki and many more. Although an in depth knowledge of electrics is not expected, the ability to do first line electrical work would be advantageous. The ideal employee will be able to liaise confidently and diplomatically with customers and be able to work alone. Whilst paper qualifications will be an advantage, direct experience in this specific type of machinery is just as desirable.
In return my client will offer an excellent basic annual salary, Paid overtime, Company Vehicle, Mobile Telephone while working over a 40 hour week.
