Worldwide company specialising in the manufacture and service of process instrumentation has been going from strength to strength. Due to the on-going success and strength of their after-sales service, they now have a requirement for a Field Service Engineer.
The role as a Field Service Engineer involves visiting client sites and providing breakdown repair, maintenance commissioning and calibration service of process instrumentation - Process Control instruments, PLC, SCADA, (i.e. Allen Bradley, S5, S7, Omron, Mitsubishi), flow meters, temperature gauges, Ph analysers, pressure sensors, control loops etc. Key skills involved are component level electronic repair and PLC repair. As this is a field service role, focus on customer service is vital.
The ideal candidate will be ONC/HNC qualified in Electronics, experience in a field service engineering / service technician role and have a full drivers license. The rewards for this role include company car, pension, life assurance and full training.
