Description
Our client is a leading figure in the provision and servicing of industrial packaging equipment for the FMCG sectors, due to growth and exciting new projects they are now looking for an experienced electronics service engineer. The right candidate will be a multi-skilled engineer familiar with the electronic, electrical, software and some mechanical elements of packaging systems.

The right candidate will be a multi-skilled engineer familiar with the electronic, electrical, software and some mechanical elements of packaging systems. The role will comprise technical support on the electronic and software applications as well as on site installations and commissioning of the packaging machinery and electrical systems.
Previous experience working with vertical / horizontal form and fill machines, check weighers and product handling solutions is required as well as experience with AC / DC drive systems and sensors.
In addition to the hardware the right candidate will have working knowledge of PLC systems and PC architecture to include ISA bus, PC104, DOS operating system (formatting, directories) and ideally some communications networking experience with Ethernet.

Some travel will be required throughout the UK so flexibility is required.
