As pioneers in the development and manufacture of high speed spindles and high accuracy CNC Machine tools, our client has been at the forefront of engineering excellence through innovation since 1935. Significant year on year growth has now led to the urgent requirement and expansion of their successful existing team. They are now looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join them.
Operating from their Midlands headquarters, as a Field Service Engineer your role will involve fault finding tasks, repairs and general servicing of machines, covering both mechanical and electrical aspects at customers' premises throughout the UK. Full product training will be provided.
To succeed as a Field Service Engineer you MUST fill the following criteria:
- Be experienced with CNC metal cutting machines and have a good PLC knowledge
- Be conversant with FANUC type controls
It is also essential that you have an engineering background within machine tools. This may have been gained from working for a Builder or Distributor of CNC machining centres and/or lathes. Our client is also keen to hear from candidates who have worked for a large Company with emphasis on internal maintenance, involving mechanical or electrical/electronic work.
As a Field Service Engineer you will also need the ability to work both on your own and as part of the existing team.
