Field Service Engineer Nationwide
South West London

Our client is one of the leading business to business service providers in the UK. They currently seek to recruit a Field Service Engineer to support the factory-based engineering and management teams within one of their divisions.
The Field Service Engineer will be based in or around South West London and will be responsible for UK-wide machinery replacements and upgrades the role will hence involve regular travelling throughout the UK with some overnight stays. Youll also oversee these projects from inception through to final commissioning to ensure it is completed on time and to budget and that all works fully comply with the companys Health and Safety procedures.
Other duties of the Field Service Engineer will require the successful applicant to assist the Group Energy Manager in an ongoing programme for Energy reduction. You will also assist in the implementation of a planned maintenance system for all the groups machinery and ensure that these procedures are followed.
Candidates for the role of Field Service Engineer must be OND or HND qualified, time-served multi-skilled engineers with a mix of technical and practical skills. Experience of working in a laundry operation, or similar high volume production environment, would be an advantage. A working knowledge of steam raising plant and system will also be required.
