Field Service Engineer - Air Conditioning, Heat Pump and Ventilation Systems.
The Company:
My client is a well established name in the field of Air Conditioning, HVAC, Heat Pump and Ventilation Systems, providing full Design, Installation, Service and Maintenance services to a wide range of clients in and around the London area.
Established over 30 years, they are looking to expand as a business by the addition of a number of Engineers, chief amongst which is the need to take on an experienced HVAC Field Service Engineer to work on an initial trial contract going on to permanent employment after a month or so, based mostly in and around South London.
The Role:
You will be a skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer with a strong background in Mechanical and Electrical Service and Repair of Air Conditioning, HVAC, Heat Pump, Refrigeration and Ventilation type systems. The work will also involve some basic plumbing and building works where required.
You will be travelling to sites in and around London, in about a 50 mile radius, paid fully door to door, conducting planned and breakdown service and repair of systems on client premises, so you should be a presentable customer facer, able to deal effectively, politely and professionally with clients.
This role will be for a Senior Level Service Engineer, and my client is looking at this position with a view to the successful applicant being swiftly made up to Service Manager once proven in the field.
The Benefits:
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a senior level position with a real chance of promotion and progression. Based on an average 10 hour working day (including travel to site in the morning, between sites, and home again) Monday to Friday, you will receive an hourly rate of £15.00-£17.00 per hour for the first month or so of the trial contract, after which, your hourly rate will rise to around £20.00 per hour for the full time role, and perhaps more. A vehicle will be provided, unless you prefer to use your own, which will be expensed if needs be. Added to this is, as stated, an excellent opportunity to become Service Manager in a short space of time.
An opportunity not to be missed!
To Apply:
To apply for this role, please send your CV direct to this advert and / or to Ricky Phillips, Contract Engineering Manager at ricky.phillips@ata-selection.co.uk and / or call on 0208 366 8100.
