Our client operate in a very high tech market and are at the forefront of it. They produce analytical and measurement devices and instruments which are used within the medical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and other industries.
Our client have a position available for Field Service Engineer to join them for a period of initially 6 months.

Our client operate in a very high tech market and are at the forefront of it. They produce analytical and measurement devices and instruments which are used within the medical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and other industries.
Our client have a position available for Field Service Engineer to join them for a period of initially 6 months. This could be extended depending on how well you perform. This position will involve travel across areas ranging from Coventry to Carlisle, but you will be assigned a region depending on your location.
You will be working from home and will have your visits planned on a daily basis. Expenses and travel will be covered as part of the package.
You will be responsible for maintenance on the products, attending annual calibration visits to ensure the product is working as it should be. There will be a hand-over period where you will be trained on the products.
As a Field Service Engineer you will have excellent communication skills and will have a determined attitude but will not be afraid to ask if you are not sure about a particular issue.
Ideally you will have previous Field Service experience and will have sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles which will allow you to pick up the products with ease.
It would be very beneficial if you have had previous dealings with medical or scientific devices or instruments, however this will not be conclusive.
