Our client is looking for a keen, enthusiastic person to join their expanding Service department. The successful applicant will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of integrated machine systems, as well as the maintenance and servicing of existing machines / conveyor systems. Your background enables you to independently carry out trouble-shooting and fault-finding.
Applicants must be mechanically biased, have knowledge of Siemens S5/S7, Allen Bradley or comparable PLCs. Applicants must also have a good working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Previous experience in the machine-building industry would be an advantage. A minimum qualification of HNC/HND mechanical or electrical engineering is expected. Also to be available to travel throughout the UK or worldwide.
