Field Service & Workshop Engineer/Internal Customer Service Engineer/Mobile Maintenance & Workshop Engineer
A renown engineering business that specialise in providing automated electronic machinery are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their Sales and Service Department. This role has recently been created due to a successful year-end of 2007, which has led to record wins with regards to the deployment of a number of high-end niche machines at various customer sites in the UK.
Your role as Field Service & Workshop Engineer is to manage various customers problems and needs within which fall under Reactive Breakdowns, Planned Maintenance, Software Upgrades, Installation, Commissioning, Customer Training and Product Development Solutions. They are currently looking for engineers in the following location North London, Hertfordshire & West London, so depending on where you are based you will manage customers in the location near where you live as well as being involved in workshop projects. The split being internally based will be every 3 weeks in 4. You will also be involved in quarterly service meetings whereby discussions that cover KPIs, SLAs and potential new customer accounts will be covered.
The right type of profile for this position will be someone that can match the following profile
Strong Experiences around Reactive and Planned Maintenance
Experiences around Automated machines such as Packaging Equipment, X Ray Systems or High Volume Production Printers.
Experiences around managing spares
Qualifications in either Electronics or Mechatronics
You will be given full induction and product training within the first 3 months of you commencing employment to ensure that you feel comfortable and are effective in your daily duties.
The starting salary for this role will be from £24,000 - £28,000 depending on your level of experience and a Company Vehicle + OT. You could also earn up to £2000 in Annual Bonuses. You will also be entitled to 25 Day Holiday, a Contributory Pension Scheme worth between 4% 8% (up to £2240 per annum) of your basic salary plus Private Medical.
