A well established company in the supply of power systems solutions is looking for an experienced Field Sales Engineer to help grow its UK market share.
Our client specialises in supplying integrated solutions incorporating generators, UPS systems, DC systems, Switchgear and software. The position is ideally suited to an experienced Sales Engineer, with a proven track record in selling power systems market or related product knowledge, with the drive to succeed in a competitive market.
Territory- South, and occasionally rest of UK/Wales.
Key Responsibilities
- New business development, identifying new business opportunities through market/competitor research, cold calling, and following leads passed from the marketing team
- Attending exhibitions
- Promoting the company- attending exhibitions etc
- Meeting clients and providing technical solutions (travelling 3-4 times a week)
- Meeting and presenting to clients on products and services
The successful candidate will possess a broad product knowledge within the Power industry i.e. UPS systems, DC systems, Switchgear, Software or related product knowledge. They will also have gained experience of selling finished products, not just components, or experience of selling projects with and Electrical background.
There is a fantastic opportunity for a tenacious Sales person to develop new business and earn high OTE (to be discussed with the Client)
The basic salary will be £30k - £35k + high OTE + laptop and car expenses.
