Description
A market leader in the development, production and supply of smart electronic meters are looking for a Field Sales Engineer to cover there Midland's territory.
The smart metering solutions offered by this company for residential and commercial markets deliver revenue and energy management through the application of electricity, gas, heat and water metering products; communication technologies, systems and services. They are looking for a Field Sales Engineer to aid in the selling of there products.
This position would ideally suit a candidate who is able to demonstrate a track record of Field Sales within the Electronics Industry who is both adaptable and flexible.
This position will be home based with trips into the office (located in Winchester) occuring no more than twice a Month. The role will be a 50/50 split between looking after existing accounts and hunting down new business. The Midlands territory covers Stoke on Trent, Birmingham and Peterborough
Key responsibilities for this position will include: Developing business with new and existing clients, 50/50 split of new business to account management.
Leads are generated from attending exhibitions, marketing mailshots/literature, leads passed, and cold calling from database, and market research.
Essential requirements for this role are that you have a good proven track record in Field Sales within a related Electronic sector and the drive and determination to go that extra mile.Ideally you will already have gained experience in a similar role within the utility or sub metering industry.
The basic for this position will be £25k - £32k (depending on level of experience) With bonus up to £2k annually + Laptop + phone.
