leading engineering company are looking for a Field Sales Engineer to develop new and existing business across the East region from Nottingham to Luton.
This position is ideally suited to an experienced Field Sales Engineer with experience in selling capital equipment i.e. heat transfer equipment, pumps, boilers etc into the process industries such as Food, Oil & Gas, or Pharmaceutical.
Key tasks for position holder:
1.
A leading engineering company are looking for a Field Sales Engineer to develop new and existing business across the East region from Nottingham to Luton.
This position is ideally suited to an experienced Field Sales Engineer with experience in selling capital equipment i.e. heat transfer equipment, pumps, boilers etc into the process industries such as Food, Oil & Gas, or Pharmaceutical.
Key tasks for position holder:
1. To assist the Regional Manager in the preparation and implementation of the Tactical Plan (Accelerator) for the company's products, systems and services in the Region.
2. To prepare and agree with the Regional Manager operating budgets for the Sales region.
3. To monitor progress against objectives and budgets and make such changes as may be required and agreed with the Regional Manager through the year.
4. To operate in the communications platform established in ACE and maintain databases for customers, projects, contracts and competition.
5. To identify sales potential in the region, determine the most effective way in which to obtain business and take action accordingly.
6. To follow-up enquires received directly in the Camberley office and sales leads generated by e.g., SAFE and PROTEL.
7. To follow-up quotations generated in the Camberley office.
8. To provide technical support for and on behalf of the Camberley office as required.
9. To assist in the training and development of Sales Channels as necessary.
10. To monitor and fight competition for the company's products, systems and services.
11. To ensure that company policies and procedures are observed in all matters related to personnel, quality and safety. The relevant policy documents are :
-To develop application knowledge for key customer segments.
-To develop commercial awareness and an understanding of terms and conditions of sale.
Pricing up to £50,000 (after initial training)
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum HND or equivalent in Chemical or Mechanical engineering.
EXPERIENCE
Good experience in a similar role is required. This must include working with external customers and be gained within the process industries for example, Food, Pharmaceutical or Chemical.
The salary for the role is £28k-£32k+ 20% bonus, + car (benchmark VW Passat 4dr 2.0TDi)
