The Field Quality Assurance Engineers will analyse and decide the best way to manage these issues to ensure that customers are protected from any potential safety or regulation issue, ensuring that they achieve Clients overall aim of ensuring total customer satisfaction. One of the main outputs of FQA to achieve this aim is the deployment of Recall or Service Campaigns throughout Clients European sales network to manage the proactive repair of vehicles.
As a Field Quality Assurance Engineer your main responsibilities will be:
Analysis of technical issues Assessment of the impact of these issues on Clients customers Implementation of the most appropriate method to proactively repair vehicles in the market
Coordination of all European Authority Enquiries & Product Liability on Client vehicles
Background
A Quality Assurance Engineer with experience of Quality Assurance tools and techniques, will have: A high level of self-discipline and motivation with proven ability in the application of problem solving, root cause analysis and concern resolution
Knowledge and experience of the aspects of the automotive design and production process (including supplier related activities).
Awareness of the specific automotive safety requirements and regulations within the European market
A Quality Assurance Engineer with experience of the main market facing functions (e.g. Warranty, Service Parts, SCM, Sales & Marketing etc) and be able to work with clear focus on company and departmental objectives. A team worker with good interpersonal skills for leadership of cross-functional teams, both internal and external
Good organisation and proven project management skills.
Customer orientated approach and a proven ability to operate across all levels within an organisation.
Working knowledge of MS software packages such as Word, Excel & Access
Technical Degree/Certification
Good verbal & written communication skills
Flexibility to travel within Europe, sometimes at short notice
Salary package within pay scale 28 - 41 (depending on experience) + Benefits including Assisted Car Purchase, Lease Car, Relocation Schemes, Subsidised Restaurant/ Sports Activities, Private Healthcare after qualifying period
