Description
Our client designs and supplies retrofit control systems to gas and steam turbines for the Oil, Gas and Power Generation industries around the world. Right now they are looking to recruit a (Multi Skilled) commissioning Engineer to support Control / Instrumentation and Auxiliary systems on Gas Turbine Driven Generating Sets.
Duties will include carrying out work at their head office in Leicestershire, UK On Shore located Power Stations, and Off Shore North Sea Platform locations, performing installation and commissioning duties on electrical control and Drives systems.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of PLC based control systems with associate HMI running SCADA type package (Rockwell and or others) with a working knowledge of rotating machinery and hydraulic systems. Formal qualifications in Electrical / Mechanical based courses preferred, practical experience of this type of work is essential.
Considerable worldwide travel is involved with the position so engineers must be flexible.
In return our client offers a basic salary of £26,000 to £32,000 (dependent on experience), paid o/t, stake-holder pension scheme, profit related bonus, on-site expenses and a realistic OTE of over £40k.
