Facilities Engineer

Description

As Facilities Engineer, you'll provide continuous improvement for the Cummins CGT Stamford facilities team. You'll identify, prioritise, plan and implement a wide range of Plant engineering projects, optimising plant layouts to support a lean manufacturing environment. Working closely day to day with the Facilities team leader, reporting to the Maintenance and Facilities Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Continuous improvement
Facilities Maintenance
Safety and Environment
Management - Analysis and use of data to establish and maintain clear departmental performance measures
Fully support Health, Safety and Environmental group
Develop a performance plan and attend quarterly reviews using the "On track" system.
Fiscal - To work with the facilities department budget to AOP levels.
Communication - Cross functional communication of local issues, both on-going and immediate, including targets, achievements, forthcoming changes, H&S issues etc..

Essential Skills:

Degree/HNC Level in an Facilities/ Engineering discipline plus suitable relevant experience. CPS (COS) Training
Experience required in a relevant Engineering discipline after suitable education and training. Project Management of large capital projects. Knowledge of building regulations. In depth knowledge of facilities, equipment, services and utilities.
Contractor management experience.
