FRONT LINE MANAGERS
•Ensure front line engineers perform to an acceptable standard
•Build individual relationships with all engineers
COSTS
•Ensure costs of direct labour are at AOP level or better
•Ensure equipment and materials are within specification, and minimise wastage
•Ensure all performance measurement reports are completed accurately
ENGAGE & DEVELOP THE TEAM
DRIVE PERFORMANCE
•Maintain a focused KPI scorecard
•Encourage employees to generate solutions
•Establish Performance Process as a consistent way to improve performance in all KPI areas
•Use involvement teams (cross-shift / cross-department) to focus on specific areas of opportunity
DEVELOP THE INDIVIDUAL
•Ensure all individuals are fulfilling the requirements of their role to an acceptable level
•Build individual accountability for performance
•Develop all employees to achieve their full potential

•Ensure all individuals have the skills they need to do the job

OPTIMISE THE PROCESS
•Build in-depth technical understanding of the plant
•Build a strong network inside and outside the site and use the contacts to leverage best practise
•Leverage the skills of the total site team, making effective use of support functions and accessing expertise in other shift teams in order to generate total site solutions to issues.
STEP-CHANGE PERFORMANCE
•Identify and quantify opportunities
•Execute projects alongside normal running
FLM COACH
•Provide coaching and support to new FLMs, sharing know-how and best practice
Skills Required.
