The Digital Digital Design specialist is responsible for the implementation of digital electronic hardware designs based on FPGA technology from inception to production and is responsible for ensuring designs are completed in a timely manner according to company procedures.

Position
The Digital Design specialist is responsible for the implementation of digital electronic hardware designs based on FPGA technology from inception to production and is responsible for ensuring designs are completed in a timely manner according to company procedures. The Digital Design specialist provides expert knowledge of electronic design, test and verification based around advanced FPGAs Writing design documentation including requirement specifications, test specifications and functional descriptions. The Digital Design Specialist will provide in house training on FPGA design, techniques and tools. The Digital Design Specialist will have experience working on FPGA based electronic equipment. The Digital Design Specialist will have exp of High-speed digital design, Design for high signal integrity. Exemplary hardware verification and debugging skill. The FPGA Specialist will have intimate knowledge of Xilinx and Mentor Graphics design tools. Expert VHDL for FPGA synthesis. Expert VHDL test bench generation.Integration of third party IP and design reuse. Use of source code control software .The Digital Design Specialist will have expert scripting for design automation.C/C++ programming skills may be of benefit. Experience of DSP, Ethernet, PowerPC and Memory interfaces of benefit.Knowledge of Xilinx and Mentor Graphics design tools Digital system design High-speed digital design. The Digital Design Specialist will be exp in design for high signal integrity Hardware verification and debugging skill Design, test and verification of digital electronic hardware based around FPGAs.
