Excellent opportunity for a Digital Hardware Engineer to work on a variety of exciting projects in a multi-national design services environment. The ideal candidate would be a highly-motivated team-player, educated to BEng/ MEng level with at least 8 years practical design experience in digital systems, having good written and verbal communication ability and strong customer-facing skills. The role requires the development of hardware and system concepts that satisfy the customer's requirements, architecture and design of hardware solutions, implementation and verification of the hardware design using appropriate EDA tools and delivery of prototype hardware by selecting components, capturing schematics, and supervising PCB layouts.
CORE SKILLS
The role demands sound understanding of electronic theory and practical expertise in the following areas:
? Hardware design experience in microcontrollers, microprocessors and DSPs,
? Verilog/VHDL experience, HDL Designer, Leonardo Spectrum, Precision Synthesis and ModelSim.
? Schematic capture using industry standard tools such as Cadence/Mentor and supporting PCB layout,
? Complex FPGA design experience using Xilinx and/or Altera devices.
