Our global pharmaceutical client is currently recruiting for an experienced Technologist to manage and lead a variety of exciting projects working alongside major blue chip organizations in the pharmaceutical arena. To qualify for this challenging and engaging position you will have experience as a Technologist or Development Scientist (or related roles) with process development or production support experience, all of which must be within the Pharmaceutical industry.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
•Managing and leading drug development projects alongside clients
•Assist in developing and improving processes relating to plant, industrialization and full scale manufacturing
•Lead, influence and negotiate effectively at scientific and business level with the client
•To represent the company and New Product Development at internal and client meetings ensuring effective communications through structured meetings and presentations where appropriate
The ideal candidate for the Senior Technologist, Technologist role must
•Be able to demonstrate significant experience in pharmaceutical process development or production support
•Have experience in Change Control procedure and have an understanding of cGMP
•Be able to supervise/coach junior staff members
•Have well developed written and presentation skills
•Be able to make reasoned judgements using numerical data and pays attention to detail
•Adopt a systematic approach to prioritising and achieving objectives
•Be able to influence colleagues over whom he or she may have no direct control.
