Your first project will be a new build hotel project in the midlands worth over £7m, with a list of other high profile projects already in the pipeline.
Experienced Quantity Surveyor needed for growing PQS
Due to rapid expansion my client now requires an experienced quantity surveyor to join there ever growing team. With 3 offices across the UK, they now have an extensive reach of prestigious projects throughout the country.
They operate in a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, education, leisure and have work for some very high profile clients. Their main aim is to ensure projects are delivered within budget to maximise value of investments.
Your first project will be a new build hotel project in the midlands worth over £7m, with a list of other high profile projects already in the pipeline.
About You:
You will have an extensive knowledge and experience of all aspects of surveying and preferably be a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. You will be a good team player and be able to manage your own time effectively.
You will be able to communicate effectively with clients and have the drive and determination to succeed and progress in your career.
Your Duties:
This will involve cost planning, risk assessments, cost monitoring and control as well as interim valuations and final accounts. You will be expected to work closely alongside the Project manager and will be involved in client meetings and presentations.
You will work part of a small team and be given added responsibility of managing your own smaller projects as you develop your career.
Salary & Benefits:
You can expect a salary between £26K-32K depending on experience along with a car, or car allowance, healthcare and 10% annual bonus scheme.
Full support of Chartership will be given if not already attained, as well as ongoing support and training.
