The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a professional and timely response to all sales enquiries to the division. Fielding telephone enquiries and providing advise to customers along the sales process, organising and completing site and building surveys, preparing layout drawings in support of the majority of estimates or tenders and preparing and coordinating the design work. Preparing and submitting competitive estimates, following up on submitted bids, attending the necessary meetings relating to work both internally and externally with the client.
The company are able to train someone up if they have worked in an estimating role in the construction civil engineering industry.
Also must have a minimum of a HND/C in Civil Engineering or geotechnical related subject in order to be able to understand the technicalities of how a building remains intact and what mini piling and underpinning would be required to keep the structure sound!
