Exp as an estimator for large scale projects, extensive financial management exp & exp in the construction industry essential.

FURTHER DETAILS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To be responsible for preparing, managing and taking accountability for the development of cost estimates in support of project and business objectives
2. To create detailed cost risk analysis and work breakdown analysis to ensure the production of high quality cost estimates
3. Taking accountability for communicating cost estimates internally and externally as appropriate/
4. To liaise with suppliers and subcontractors as required and to report back to the appropriate managers
5. To identify, evaluate and manage all financial risk and opportunity for bids and projects as directed
6. To promote company values in all dealing with other employees, clients, subcontractors and other external contacts.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
• Previous experience as an estimator for large scale projects
• Extensive financial management experience
• Experience of managing the supply chain
• Experience in the construction industry
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
• Spanish language skills
• Experience of working in an international organisation
Initially based in Richmond until Aug 07 some travel required
