With a good forward order book, and increasing enquiries, my client has a vacancy for Sales Estimating and Tendering Engineers. The Sales and Estimating Engineer will be responsible for product range that includes motor control and switchgear for 415V / 3.3KV / 6.6KV / 11KV systems, PLC, SCADA, Automation Systems, Crane Control Systems, AC drives and equipment packages which may consist of several of the mentioned products.

Estimating and Tendering Engineer £25K Package and profit related bonus scheme and 25 Days Holiday.

With a good forward order book, and increasing enquiries, my client has a vacancy for Sales Estimating and Tendering Engineers. The Sales and Estimating Engineer will be responsible for product range that includes motor control and switchgear for 415V / 3.3KV / 6.6KV / 11KV systems, PLC, SCADA, Automation Systems, Crane Control Systems, AC drives and equipment packages which may consist of several of the mentioned products.

Ideally they are looking for candidates with an Electrical Engineering background and experience in one of more of these fields. This position will particularly suit an Engineer wishing to move into a Sales environment.
Reporting to the Sales Director, the position is based in our air conditioned Bedford Office and involves
Interpreting client requirements,
Selecting suitable products,
Producing estimates and detailed tenders.
Supporting their Account Managers.
You will often be required to liaise with their clients to ensure that the technical content of the estimates are correct. Also their sales engineers and technical department are also available for advice & support when required.

They have Microsoft Windows packages for preparation of quotations and for storage of enquiries and quotes. Familiarity with MS Word, Excel & Access would be useful.
Although not essential, the ability to use AutoCAD would be beneficial too as these are sometimes used in the preparation of outline drawings to accompany our proposals.
