Seeking an Estimating Engineer. Ideally the successful candidate would be qualified to HNC level in Production Engineering.

My client has been providing innovative and cost effective engineering solutions in the field of specialist and bespoke turnkey Project Engineering. The experienced and dedicated team are able to undertake complete multi-disciplinary turnkey contracts, plant upgrades and refurbishment projects embracing mechanical, structural, electrical and hydraulic engineering disciplines, all within a companywide culture of professional Project Management.
Seeking an Estimating Engineer. Ideally the successful candidate would be qualified to HNC level in Production Engineering and would be able to demonstrate an extensive background in the production of accurate and detailed manufacturing cost estimates generated from detailed client manufacturing drawings covering a wide variety of both machining and fabrication work.
The companys client base is wide ranging as is the extent of their manufacturing capability and in recognition of this, we would provide full support and back-up during the initial period of introduction to the companys Estimating and Sales Department.
Within a short period of time we would expect the successful candidate to take on a more senior role, combining their own estimating function, with that of the day to day operation and control of the Estimating and Sales Department. This would embrace discussion and agreement on enquiry selection and monitoring of enquiries issued to other estimators within the department (3/4 No) and telephone follow up of selected tenders.
This is a senior position within the company, reporting directly to the Operations Director.
