Our client is recruiting for an Equipment Validation Engineer or Manufacturing Equipment Validation Engineer or a Validation Engineer to produce equipment validation and utilities validation documentation. In addition to co-ordinate and actively participate in the preparatory and practical activities relating to all aspects of Equipment and Utilities Validation.
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
1. Write equipment and utility validation protocols and reports for new and existing equipment/utilities
2. Review Review/produce supporting validation documentation, as required, as part of a validation exercise.
3. Undertake equipment/utilities validation exercises and/or the supervision of equipment/utilities validation exercises.
4. Co-ordinate with other groups with responsibilities for equipment/utilities validation activities directly related to equipment/utilities validation, e.g. Project Engineering.
5. Provide up to date information to Line Management on activities and time lines relating to equipment/utilities validation work, utilising appropriate techniques.
6. Advise Line Management and other departments on areas of expertise, as appropriate.
Maintain Validation databases and Quality systems as required.
To be a credible candidate for this position you will require solid experience in validation within the pharmaceutical industry and have demonstrable experience in drafting, executing and reporting of validation documentation ie IQ, OQ, PQ protocols. You will have experience of organising and running Equipment/Utilities validation projects and have experience of working alongside regulatory auditors, liaising with FDA and/or MHRA investigators during audits. If you have experience of training others, this would be ideal.
