My client, a manufacturer of an innovative mobile telecommunications device, have an opportunity for an equipment and facilities manager who will be responsible for managing the maintenance of the plant, facilities and process equipment:-
Key areas of responsibility :-
1) Plans and implements a systematic preventative maintenance schedule
2) Management of a 24x7 maintenance team of about 6 team members
3) Project leadership & planning of new equipment procurement & installation
4) Organisation of spare parts & training schedules
5) Develops & maintains efficient service contracts
6) Provides hands on support where appropriate
Knowledge and experience
1) Previous engineering / maintenance experience
2) Effective planning and organisational capability
3) Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
4) Team player and a flexible approach
5) Previous experience in a semiconductor environment
6) Previous management / supervisory experience
7) Previous experience of project management
8) Complies with all EHS procedures and with working practices document
9) Flexible, willing to work on inconvenient hours
10) Degree/HNC or equivalent in a related discipline
