Description

The post would allow strengthening of existing capabilities in Water & Environment in relation to water-oriented engineering and environmental projects especially in our Birmingham and Telford Offices.

It is likely that work could be developed in Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS).

Responsibilities:


.Undertaking ecological survey and environmental assessment work, principally water-related
.Providing advice on environmental issues and bioengineering solutions to internal and external clients on water-related projects, principally in Birmingham and Telford offices
.Developing and implementing marketing plans for water sector in Midlands Region
.Strengthening existing capabilities in Water & Environment through contact and advice to relevant staff in offices throughout the UK


Requirements:

.Solid Experience working on environmental and ecological issues in the water industry
.Practical experience of bioengineering solutions (ideally with knowledge of materials and construction methods)
.Knowledge of aquatic ecology (preferably botanically based)
.Confident working within a team environment.
.Confident in a client-facing role
.Able to offer advice and support to multi-disciplinary teams in Water & Environment (in particular the Birmingham and Telford based teams)
