Description
GRADUATES - JOIN OUR TEAM AND BUILD THE FUTURE
Keen to recruit those wishing to pursue a career in either mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, bridge, tunnel, geotechnical, traffic engineering, transport planning or environmental consultancy work.
On joining, graduates, where appropriate, will be entered onto one of our mandatory ICE, CIBSE, ILT, IEE, CIWEM or IMechE accredited graduate training programmes falling within our GUIDE (Graduates Undertaking Integrated Training and Experience) Scheme. Other schemes are recognised and supported with acreditation status continually under consideration with the goal of ensuring you achieve professional and personal development.
Our GUIDE scheme is based on the specific requirements of the relevant institutions and designed to give you a thorough grounding in your chosen discipline, both in terms of the range and depth of your experience.
Graduates are expected to work towards the required standard of their particular institution within approximately four to five years. The aim of GUIDE is not the achievement of Chartership, although that is an eventual by-product, but instead to develop overall competence in the role
A reward mechanism also exists to recognise the achievement of meeting a required standard for relevant professional institutions.
Graduates are also supported with a 2-day induction programme, graduate forums, mentors and our Training Academy Framework. In addition, continuous career development may also include the opportunity for overseas work experience.
We are keen to recruit those wishing to pursue a career in either mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, bridge, tunnel, geotechnical, traffic engineering, transport planning or environmental consultancy work. A degree in a relevant technical or social-based discipline is ideal although in some instances other courses will be considered.
If you join, you will part of a team helping to develop efficient, comfortable and environmentally conscious solutions to buildings, transportation infrastructure and the environment, for the benefit of society as a whole.
