Description
The successful Environmental Advisor, Environmental Assessment Engineer will be Degree (or equivalent) qualified in an appropriate discipline and/or have experience in a relevant field. Knowledge of UK environmental legislation, RSA93 and ISO 14001 are highly desirable.

Our client is a leading Defence organisation based in the Reading area and responsible for the supply and provision of warheads for our nuclear deterrent capability. They have a requirement for an Environmental Advisor, Environmental Assessment Engineer to provide environmental support services to internal and external customers to support their strategic imperatives.
The Environmental Advisor, Environmental Assessment Engineer responsibilities will include - To operate within the company standards relating to Security, Quality, Environment, Safety and Health
To provide specialist support and facilitate environmental risk assessments including BPM
To provide support to the company on implementation of requirements under RSA 93
To develop the environmental components within Safety Cases
Develop, implement and advise on environmental assessment methodologies
Assist in investigations if required
Provide technical auditing support
Provide support to Local Management Safety Inspections
Environmental Advisor providing environmental information and advice to staff and facilities
