Description
Job Title: Enterprise Architect
Location: New Malden, Surrey
Salary: £32,000 - £60,000
Job purpose:
The National Security and Resilliance Cluster within INSYTE has formed a team of Systems Engineers to develop and apply the 4D Enterprise Engineering approach to this emerging market. This role will be to provide the Enterprise Architecture for new and evolving projects by exploring requirements, technology options and solutions. The role with include modelling of current situations or possible solutions (people, process and technology) using MODAF and other Systems Engineering Tools.
As a Lead Systems Engineer in the specialist area of Enterprise Architecture, you will work closely with other experts and specialists to address customer needs:
Ensuring that requirements are mutuallunderstood
scoping and generating Enterprise solutions to underpin business offerings
undertaking analysis of competitor solutions
assessing NSR capability gaps and creating and implementing plans for their closure
co-ordinating the Enterprise Architecture solution strategy across the NSR market areas
managing key dependencies and interfaces/ways of working with Insyte/BAES/Industry
developing and briefing Insyte NSR capability and technology plans
Key responsibility areas:
You will provide direction to NSR in the area of Enterprise Architecture and initial support to NSR in the following areas:
Innovative Customer Solution development
Enterprise Engineering
Structured Problem Solving
Systems Integration
Knowledge & capability brokering
Security consultancy (e.g. CLAS)
Facilitation, workshops and presentations (core generalist skill)
Knowledge of what Insyte potentially has to offer to the National Security market (core professional skill)
Marketing and promotion
Your role will be to enhance the solution portfolio and presence of NSR by:
Networking: attending conferences, seminars and appropriate events
Promoting: identifying solutions and raising the awareness of services with customers
Designing and developing propositions (together with Customer and Insyte Business support)
Managing CRM based customer and lead information together with other members of the NSR team
Managing Insyte stakeholders
Ensuring domain doctrine & policy can be followed using solution portfolio components
Additional information:
Degree or Post Graduate qualification in Systems Engineering
