Our client is a major international tier 1 supplier of powertrain units to the automotive industry. They are seeking a senior engineer to lead a team of test engineers and technicians. The suitable candidate should have a technical background, ideally from an automotive background, within a test and development environment. Most of the test work will be non-dyno. The suitable candidate should expect to spend approximately 75% in a management capacity and 25% working in a technical capacity.
The position would be ideal for someone who has a proven track record in the field of management / team leading however could also be applicable to someone who exhibits the ability to excel in this position with no specific team lead background.
