As a rapidly expanding global company, our client is a leader in the development of advanced CAE software. With a client portfolio including some of the world's leading engineering companies in Europe, the US and Japan, they have an unrivalled reputation for innovation. In order to continue their expansion they are now looking to recruit an experienced, self motivated and highly energetic Engineering Software Sales Consultant to join their team.
Applying your proven sales experience, in this role you will be responsible for expanding their European and/or US client base by selling the company's software and consultancy services to the automotive, aerospace, power, machine and industrial markets. This position will involve some travel to client sites, and potential travel to Europe and the US.
As a Engineering Software Sales Consultant your responsibilities will include:
- generating qualified leads
- qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities
- managing sales calls, web based presentations and sales visits
- establishing a global network of distributors and resellers
- working with Support Engineers to maintain customer relations
To succeed in this opportunity you must have previous B2B sales experience, ideally selling engineering software for example CAD, CAE, and/or CFD packages. Our client will also consider applicants with proven software sales experience or a record of selling technical engineering products.
Additionally, as the Sales Executive / Business Development Manager you will need excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills, along with strong customer facing skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
