JOB SUMMARY
TWEM Engineering Project Controller A400M Checkstress
•Co-ordinate and manage all aspects of the business and operational deliverables for TWE-M within the specific IDBT teams, ensuring pro-active management to all functional and programme targets.
•Establish a communication link between TWEM Operations Manager, EPM and IDBT organisation for all Engineering operational issues.
MAJOR END RESULTS
Describe the major outcomes for which the job holder has accountability
•Ensure good supplier management in line with AP2293.
•Facilitate and monitor the released financial budget on behalf of the Checkstress ETL and Certification EPM.
•Ensure robust financial reporting to both Functional and Programme Stakeholders, providing both timely and accurate risk and opportunities reports and actions plans to address.
•Pro-actively manage resource deployment in and out of the team ensuring resources are enabled to support TWE-M Engineering deliverables.
•Ensure TWEM adhere to appropriate Engineering Policies and Procedures
•Manage other functional initiatives such as Knowledge Management are deployed effectively within the specific IDBTs.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Financial Control
•Monitor the released budget for the specific IDBT in conjunction with the ETL and Certification Project Controller. Ensure the Risk and Opportunities process is implemented within the IDBT and reported to the Functional and Programme stakeholders.
•Work with the other Operations team member to provide robust reporting templates which can be used within the IDBT area
Resource Management
•Promote and manage all Airbus Procedures associated with Supplier Management (AP2293) and cascade the requirements through Operations team network within the CDBT Teams. Capture improvement initiatives and communicate to appropriate function within Airbus.
•Pro-actively manage delegated authority process with strategic sub contract organization to ensure quality of resources are in place to ensure Engineering deliverables.
Strategic Engineering Organisations
•Support the ETL & Checkstress Team in developing long term relationships with Strategic Sub-Contract Organizations to ensure pro-active resource plans, workload visibility and capability requirements.
•Establish and manage in conjunction with the ETL and Certification Project Controller the appropriate set of KPIs to ensure development objectives are achieved.
•Identify, mobilize and managed in conjunction all stakeholders Design Offload packages using the AP2293 process, ensuring best value for money for TWE-M and adherence to the TWE-M Offload Strategy.
Continuous Improvement Management
•Influence the TWE CI strategy and manage the implementation within A400M Checkstress Team.
•Identify, establish and implement TWE-M CI initiatives across TWE-M engineering and influence A400M ACMT organisation.
•Management of external function initiatives such as Knowledge Management (RISE & Yellow Pages) into TWE-M. Ensure minimum impact to the Engineering teams whilst adhering to centrally driven timescales
Supplier Management
•Manage supplier relationships in support of core business objectives including influencing supplier interactions with the A400M Checkstress team in terms of communications and reporting.

Directly managed by the Certification Project Controller and ETL for Checkstress, the role will contribute and influence the following ;
•Management of Offload design packages
•Control of Risks and Opportunities process for the specific area.
MAJOR PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED IN THE POSITION
Lead by the Checkstress ETL and Certification EPM, the role will contribute and influence the following ;
•Supplier Management.
•Identify and implement improvement opportunities with Strategic sub-contract organisation such as low cost resources, and 2nd tier partnerships.
•Financial Management ; Identify financial opportunities with Programme and Engineering stakeholders.
