Our client, a major well known brewery requires an experienced Process Engineering Manager in London and including international travel.

Purpose of Role
Support the achievement of the overall business plan. Lead and support the site teams in the implementation of capital investment plans across the plants. Ensure all assets are utilized effectively before considering investment. Acts as custodian of the capital approval system and ensures asset investment master plans are maintained for all process plants. Provide cost effective investment solutions with particular focus on process technologies and solutions involved in the brewing, blending processing and distilling capital projects together with effective implementation of the projects. To support and lead asset investment strategies and ensure the infrastructure (people, organisation and technology) is in place to enable projects to be implemented effectively into a fully supported environment. To liaise and interact with other business functions to ensure that the overall supply operation works in an optimum, cohesive manner during project implementation. Ensure the company has the most cost effective investment solution. Ensure a culture of continuous improvement is instilled. Coach and develop engineering and operations personnel to enable the delivery of the investment strategy's and business performance.


Qualifications and Experience Required
University degree in Engineering with or progressing towards professional status. A MBA/ MSc or Dip IBD in a related field would be an advantage.Significant Project management experience required. Site operational experience in a managerial role would be an advantage.Sound understanding of the manufacturing operations, with particular strengths in process knowledge and financial management.Demonstrated commercial and negotiation skills.Analytical problem solving and auditing skills.Facilitation and coaching skills.Self-motivated and able to work independently and remotely across different environments.
