Engineering Estimator
**Estimator - Wiltshire**
An outstanding opportunity to join this world class engineering company in Wiltshire. Working closely with the Business Development Team , ensuring that high quality consistent estimates are produced. The job covers estimates which are to be prepared in all UK offices reporting to and taking guidance from the existing Estimating Manager.
Key responsibilities:
•Responsible for the effective management of all allocated estimates from initial enquiry through to submission of final offer, including determination of the appropriate structure of the estimate.
•Full involvement in each estimate as determined by the size of project.
•The physical production of costs, prices using RIB for small tenders
•Responsible for managing the pricing process; evaluating, assessing and co-ordinating inputs from all other costing disciplines, ensuring high levels of consistency and quality.
The successful candidate willl be comfortable with operating as part of the Tender and Estimating Team, have a good overall grounding in Estimating (obtaining quotes for equipment/hours , validating these against requirements, analysing the numbers) ,ideally within a similar highly regulated engineering envionment and have strong computing skills especially regarding databases and MSExcel.
