The purpose of this role is to help develop the wind turbine market and contribute to bearing technology development. As Bearing Specialist, your key responsibilities will include conducting engineering projects for yaw and pitch bearing design and development, traveling overseas to meet existing and prospective customers, increasing market awareness of our client and its products, liaising with Engineering, R&D and Software departments regarding customer requirements and helping to develop bearings technology.
The Bearing Specialist will be educated to degree level or above in a related discipline. You will have a high level of expertise in yaw and pitch bearings for wind turbines, and experience of the wind turbine industry. You will be proficient in engineering stress analysis, finite element analysis, durability and contact analysis and be able to communicate at a high level within major accounts. You should have the ability to develop profitable business solutions with major accounts and be self-motivated and goal directed.
