Our client are the leading UK designers and manufacturers of industrial dampers to a UK and worldwide client base.
They are currently looking to recruit an Engineer to join their team. This is a career opportunity which will offer clear progression to the right applicant leading to increase in responsibility and will form a critical part of the business. Long term you will take over the responsibility for proposals/Estimates/Quotes with a handover period from an Engineer looking to retire in 3 years. During this time you will be encouraged to soak up all knowledge and experience.
You will need to have an engineering background (Ideally mechanical) and be qualified to ONC minimum in a related discipline. Mechanical apptitude is a must together with some experience of putting quotes and estimates together for parts and maintenance schedules.
An articulate and confident person, you will enjoy working as part of a small dedicated team, but will also be self motivated and capable of working on your own initiative with the minimum of supervision. You will need to be down to earth, honest, and possess excellent interpersonal skills which allow you to communicate with people at all levels.
This is an office based position with the opportunity for some UK and occasional overseas travel.
