Engine Technician required to work for a fantastic Aerospace manufacturing company !!

We are looking for Engine Technician to disassemble, assemble and inspect engines for a leading aerospace manufacturer in Luton.

Your responsibilities for this position will be:

Disassembly, inspection and assembly of 502/ 507 turbofan engines

Repair and overhaul to engines modules and components

Accurately complete all necessary documentation to the approved quality standard Able to work in accordance to Engine maintenance manuals

Able to use standard measuring equipment

Able to learn new skills in accordance to the normal time scale set

Fully conversant with all the relevant aspects of the ALF502/ 507 components and procedures

Skill of operating all relevant machinery and knowledge of maintenance procedures Interest in supporting / qualifying in engine testing processes

It is preferred if you have an aircraft or military background as well as recent hands on time spent in an engine overhaul or in a flight line environment.

The client would prefer the candidate to be qualified to City and Guilds technician level, however this is not preferred. Also deep strip experience on T55/ T53/ ALF502/ 507 is an advantage as well as experience in a test call environment.

The salary starts at 18,000 - 20,000. Overtime is also available at time and a half Monday - Friday and double time on Sundays. You must also be flexible as there is a possibility of working shifts, for which premium will be paid for.

You will be working a standard 40 hour week Mon - Fri.
