Job Specification:
The EHM engineer will be engaged in the interfacing of three areas: DS&S, Controls and engine development. It is likely that the major focus for the successful applicant will be the validation arena (vibration and pressure measurements particularly). It will be expected that the post will need to learn how the data is captured by the engine and used subsequently by DS&S, and what the necessary developmental work to meet airlines requirements will be.The post is likely to come into contact with both Boeing and the airlines once flight test starts.
It should be noted that the post is a part of a very small team (planned at 4 max) and that, dependent on experience and gained knowledge

Specific knowledge of gas turbines is not essential but would help.
